Matches may be played anywhere that the players agree to play. If the players/teams cannot
agree, then the match should be played at the Stroudsburg High School tennis courts. If the
players choose to play at a club, fees are the responsibility of the players.
Please register at https://form.jotform.com/231266793284161 for the league or leagues that
you wish to play. Cost for SARTA members is $5 per each league. Cost for non-SARTA members is
$10 per each league. Please pay on the SARTA website on the paypal link, including a
description of your payment. (This is a great time to join SARTA!!)
Once registrations are completed (by June 10), SARTA will arrange level-based divisions for
Men’s and Women’s singles, Men’s and Women’s’ doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
Format will be best two out of three sets. AD scoring. 10-point Se-breaker is played in lieu of a
full third set (first to 10 by 2).
Each player brings a new can of balls. The winner of the match takes home the unopened new
can.
This is a flex league, so please try to schedule and play as many matches as possible. Players are
responsible for contacting opponents and setting up matches taking into account everyone’s
schedules.
After a match is played, please email your scores to SARTA c/o christiebower@gmail.com , including the players’ names, winner names, score and date played, where they will be recorded in Tennis Link.
Regular season matches begin acer June 20th and run through August 31st. The top two finishers
in each division will play a playoff match to be played between September 1st and September
15th.
If a player/team does not play at least 50% if the matches in the division, their scores will be
removed from the final standings.
